A Bus Driver transports players and staff to training and matches. They may work within the academy or with the senior team. It’s their responsibility to regularly check the vehicle and carry out any basic maintenance work. Defects or faults should be reported to the appropriate person. It’s important that they’re prompt for all trips and work within health and safety guidelines and the Drivers Code of Conduct.

As they’re representing the sports club or event, a Bus Driver must be presentable at all times. Often this requires wearing a shirt and tie. The role is usually carried out on a part-time basis.
A full and clean UK driving licence with unrestricted D1 capability or a PCV qualification is required. This allows the holder to drive a minibus. Applicants should also be aged 25+ for insurance purposes.
Experience driving a minibus is required. Applicants should be competent drivers who are comfortable transporting numerous passengers.
