“Sporting Goal were superb in helping deliver a workshop around careers in sport to our football futures students. The benefit of the workshop to those currently volunteering was great, giving them information around what

they need to have/do to be part of the football/Sports industry. I know our leaders went away with clear visions of what they needed to do moving forward to reach their goal after the Sporting Goal presentation.”

"Sporting Goal were exceptionally professional in going about their delivery of workshops to our third year Physical and Sport Education students. I was particularly impressed with their interpersonal skills and ability to empathise with our students. I hope that we can build a lasting professional relationship for the benefit of our students' future careers in sport."

“Thank you for coming in to the training ground to deliver the careers talk to our young scholars. The session was well organised and the interactive tasks meant that the lads were well engaged throughout the session. Of particular interest was the wide range of available opportunities that would allow them to remain involved in sport, and the practical steps they would need to take in order to achieve a career in that field. It was also useful for me from the perspective that the content covered aspects of the NVQ qualification that the lads follow as part of their AASE programme. It was a real triumph of achievement through active learning!”

“The careers session was conducted with players and parents of the U17s Girls’ Centre of Excellence age group at Chelsea FC. Using a workshop format, the staff delivered a highly informative workshop and were clearly knowledgeable of multiple career paths within sport. Furthermore, they were able to translate these message clearly and concisely to the players involved. The information provided within the workshop was presented visually, being easy to follow and professionally presented. The interactive nature of the workshop provided players with an opportunity to discuss various career paths independently and in collaboration with the Sporting Goal staff. I would encourage the inclusion of the Sporting Goal careers workshop to any Girls’ Centre of Excellence programs wishing to provide players with future direction and career advice as part of their long term development”.
